On Thursday, December 18, 2014, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a Tanoak Drive residence.
The following was seized:
6,575 grams of marihuana bud – $65,750
6,400 LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide) tabs – $32,000
238 grams of psilocybin – $2,380
10 grams of hash (shatter) – $600
16 grams of hash – $240
Approximately $10,000 Canadian and American currency
As a result of the investigation, Jonathan Duncan, (41) of London, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, contrary to section 354(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada, as well as the following Controlled Drugs and Substances Act offences:
– Possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to section 5(2);
– Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2); and
– Two counts of possession of a Schedule III substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2).
