In response to community complaints of drug trafficking in the Timberwalk area, members of the Barrie Police Service Street Crime/Drug Unit unit commenced an investigation. During this investigation it came to light that numerous persons were attending a residence and staying for a short duration of time.
As a result of this investigation a 21 year old Toronto male was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. In addition a 43 year old Barrie male was charged with possession of cocaine.
Members of the public are encouraged to contact the police directly or Crimestoppers if they suspect drug activity in their neighbourhood.
