(OXFORD COUNTY, ON) – Shortly before 4:00 p.m. on July 2, 2018, members of the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a campground in the Township of East Zorra-Tavistock, following a report of an unresponsive male.
The male had been pulled from a body of water and was observed to be vital signs absent (VSA) upon the arrival of emergency responders. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending next-of-kin notifications, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
