Just after 9pm on July 10, 2014, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a 32 year old North Dumfries male in his vehicle on Dundas Street near Main, for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. A search of the male yielded a number of prescription pills and several thousand dollars in cash. Investigation into illegal drugs and drug activity is ongoing. Anyone with information may call police at 519 653 7700 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 8477. The male was released on a Promise to Appear in court at a later date.
