(WALKERTON, ON) – On February 21st, 2012 at 9:03 pm, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Durham Street East in Walkerton stopped a Green Nissan and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A 3 day licence suspension was issued following a warn result at the roadside. Motorists are reminded that choosing to drive after drinking represents an unacceptable risk to the public safety that can’t be tolerated. Impaired perception, impaired judgement and impaired reaction time put lives at risk. The South Bruce OPP has a zero tolerance for mixing alcohol and driving.
