Driver Rams Vehicle Repeatedly In Chatsworth – Alcohol A Factor

(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On February 3, 2017 at approximately 10:41 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an unwanted female at a residence on the East Back Line in the Township of Chatsworth.

The complainant returned home to find a female sitting in the driver’s seat of her boyfriend’s parked vehicle. The female suspect proceeded to drive into the complainant’s vehicle several times. There were no injuries.

The female suspect, who had been drinking alcohol, was arrested and transported to the Markdale OPP Detachment for breath tests, which she refused.

The 30-year woman, from the Municipality of West Grey, was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and with failing/refusing to provide a sample of her breath.

She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 23, 2017.
