Driver Impaired By Drugs: Busted With Morphine, Heroin, MDMA, Crack Cocaine and Marihuana

On December 2, 2014 at approximately 9:20am Barrie Police responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Bayfield and Sophia St. Police arrived on scene and found that the female driver appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. The female was arrested for being impaired by drugs. Police located a quantity of prescription and non-prescription drugs on the female including morphine, heroin, MDMA crack cocaine and marihuana. Further investigation revealed that the female had just picked up her vehicle from the impound yard as she had been arrested 3 days prior for the same offence. A 32 year old Barrie woman is facing charges for impaired driving, possession morphine for the purpose of trafficking, and five counts of possession of a controlled substance. She was held pending a bail hearing.
