(THAMES CENTRE, ON) – On September 15, 2018, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hamilton Road, Thames Centre.
The officer determined that the 36-year-old male, driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The driver was arrested and transported to a police station for further testing.
As a result of the police investigation, Shawn EMMERSON, of Guelph, Ontario was charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC) and Driving Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor, pursuant to the Liquor Licence Act (LLA).
The accused is scheduled to appear in a London court room on October 9, 2018.
