(KINCARDINE, ON) – On May 25th, 2012 at 9:20 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash in front of the McDonald’s restaurant on Broadway Street, Kincardine. Officers arrived to find that a Grey Toyota Tundra was travelling northbound from the McDonald’s parking lot towards a mini mall across the road when it struck a Brown Toyota Camry travelling along Broadway Street. The driver of the Tundra, 18 year old Dan AUSTIN of Kincardine, has been charged with Careless driving. There were no injuries reported at the crash.

2 VEHICLE CRASH INVOLVING SCHOOL BUS
– Bus driver charged-
(HURON TWP, ON) – On May 17th, 2012 at 7:34 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Bruce County Road 7 and Concession 10, Huron Township. Officers attended with Bruce County paramedics and the Ripley Huron Fire Department to find both involved vehicles were east of Bruce County Road 7.
A First Student school bus was found lying on its side in the ditch north of Concession 10, the driver was the only occupant. There were NO students involved.
A Chevrolet Silverado pick up truck was found in the ditch south of Concession 10, Ripley Huron fire fighters were dealing with a fire at the front of the truck on police arrival.
The school bus driver and the pick up truck driver were both taken to the Kincardine hospital for assessment of non life threatening injuries.
The driver of the school bus, 62 year old Joyce WOODS of Kincardine has been charged with Fail to stop for stop sign.
