Driver Breaks Hydro Pole

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On July 16, 2015 at 2:17 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash at the ā€œSā€ bend on Bruce County Road 23 in Kincardine Township. Officers arrived to find that a White Mazda 3 was south bound on Bruce County Road 23 when it left the roadway and struck the hydro pole. The pole broke and hydro wires were lying across both lanes of Bruce County Road 23.

The driver, a Municipality of Kincardine woman, was assessed by Bruce County Paramedics for minor injuries received in the crash.

Municipality of Kincardine fire fighters extinguished a fire that started near the scene of the crash.

Hydro One staff attended to restore power to the area.
