(HURON TWP, ON) – On October 2, 2012 at 12:35 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash on Lake Range Drive in Huron Township. Officers arrived to find a White Mazda M3 had left the roadway and struck a tree before coming to rest on its side in the west ditch.
The driver was taken to the South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Kincardine, and then airlifted to the London Health Sciences Centre with serious injuries.
The West Region OPP Technical Traffic Collisions Investigation unit is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
Lake Range Drive remains closed between Concession 10 and Concession 12 in Huron Township for the safety of emergency responders. Motorists are asked to respect the closure and avoid the incident area.
