(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Sunday April 06, 2014, shortly before 2:15 p.m., Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a serious two vehicle collision at the intersection of Perth Road 180 and Line 36 north of Dublin.
Investigation indicated that a Dodge Caravan was travelling south bound on Perth Road 180, when it was T boned by a west bound KIA Soul travelling on Line 36. The 31 year old female driver of the Caravan, a London resident, was transported by air ambulance to a London Hospital with major but non-life threatening injuries. A one year old female passenger, property seated and strapped in a rear facing child seat, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital as a precaution. The 73 year old female driver of the Kia Soul, a resident of Huron East was also transported by ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.
OPP West Region Technical Traffic Investigators attended the scene and are assisting in with the investigation. At present, investigation into the cause of this collision is continuing.
