On January 29th a Barrie Police officer conducted a routine traffic stop on Dunlop St after noticing a problem with the validation sticker on a vehicle. The officer determined that the driver of the vehicle had multiple criminal and provincial driver’s licence suspensions. It was also determined that he was before the courts on a number of criminal driving charges as well as being on probation for criminal driving offences. A 31 year old Minesing male was charged with driving while disqualified and breach of probation. He was held pending a bail hearing. His vehicle was impounded for 90 days.
