(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On February 20, 2018 at approximately 10:00 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 402 near Miller Road.
The investigation revealed that an eastbound driver slowed down to enter the highway median under the Miller Road overpass. It appears that the driver intended to use the highway median as a highway turn-around.
After slowing down, the vehicle was struck by a tractor trailer. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of this collision.
Further investigation revealed that the 39-year-old female driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. The officer demanded the officer provide a roadside breath sample and the driver registered an alert”.
The driver was charged with Careless Driving
