On Saturday the 3rd of August 2013 at approximately 2:40PM, a citizen observed a 35 foot sail boat drifting in Kemenfelt by. There was no one on it and it had appeared to break free of its anchorage. The citizen called Barrie police who dispatched the marine unit. The officers located the boat and secured it from drifting. The owner was located and the boat was turned over to him. The boat had slipped its anchorage while the owner was attending Kempenfest.
