On July 3, 2016, at approximately 8:25 p.m., a female was walking in an empty parking lot at Main Street East and Hughson Street South in the City of Hamilton when she was struck from behind by a vehicle. The driver and vehicle fled the scene. The female sustained injuries and required medical attention. As a result of a joint investigation between the Hamilton Police Human Trafficking Unit and the Homicide Unit, a male suspect was identified.
Douvainn DEAN is now wanted by Hamilton Police for Attempted Murder, Assault, Material Benefits from Sexual Services and Advertise Sexual Services.
Hamilton Police are asking the public for their assistance in locating DEAN.
He is described as male, black, 20 years of age, approximately 5’5” tall, and 160lbs. He has obvious scarring on the right side of his face and is known to wear glasses. He is also known to frequent hotels and be in the company of young females.
