On the 26th of January 2015 an Officer the Barrie Police Service Uniform Patrol Division observed
a vehicle travelling northbound on Bayfield Street in the City of Barrie when it was observed making an illegal turn. The officer followed the vehicle a short distance and it was observed weaving within its lane. The officer stopped the vehicle and upon speaking with the driver he noticed obvious signs of impairment. The driver was arrested and transported back to the station where he blew over twice the legal limit. The male was held till sober and released with a court date.
