Donald Waring Caught At RIDE

(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On December 7, 2012 at 3:28am, the County of Wellington Festive RIDE Team was conducting a R.I.D.E. spot check at Highway 6 south and College Ave west, just outside of Guelph. As the officer investigated the driver of a 1997 Chevrolet that entered the spot check, he detected the odour of freshly burnt marijuana. The driver surrendered a quantity of marijuana, as well as a part can of beer that he had been consuming to police.

Donald Waring, age 37 of Guelph has been charged with Possession of Marijuana contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, as well as Consuming Liquor in other than Licenced Place, Residence, or Private Place, contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.
