Donald Beattie – Drunk Driving – Failure To Provide Breath Sample

(NORTH HURON, ON) – On January 30, 2011 at approximately 1:00 am a Huron OPP officer stopped a vehicle on Blyth Road. Upon speaking to the driver, the officer observed liquor behind the driver seat and could detect other signs of consumption. The officer then read a demand for the driver to provide a roadside sample of his breath.

After numerous attempts, the driver would not provide a suitable sample of his breath to the officer. He was then arrested and later released after being charged with one count of Fail to Provide Breath Sample.

Donald BEATTIE (75) of Auburn will answer to his charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on April 4, 2011.
