(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – Slow down!! It’s winter and the roads are slick. The message doesn’t get any more simple than that, stresses Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Officers are currently dealing with numerous cars in the ditch and crashes along Highway 402 and areas north and west of the City of London.
Once again, drivers are missing the mark and not getting the message and are driving way too fast for the conditions. The result is that they are needlessly losing control of their vehicles and ending up in crashes and in the ditch.
Middlesex County OPP has been dealing with approximately 20 occurrences this morning alone and it’s not slowing down. Each one of these occurrences is putting the drivers, other motorists and emergency responders at risk, a risk that is needless and can be prevented if drivers just slow down, leave room and have the appropriate equipment on their vehicles.
