Dominic Nolan – Drunk Driving

(NORTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 49 year old male with refusing to provide a breath sample following a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint stop. On April 3, 2013 just after 11:00 p.m. a white Chevrolet Impala entered a R.I.D.E check located at Blyth Road and London Road.

Officers spoke with the driver and immediately detected the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was administered and the driver registered a fail. He was transported to the Sebringville OPP detachment where he refused to provide breath samples to the intoxilizer technician.

As a result, Dominic NOLAN, 49, from Georgetown has been charged with Fail to Provide Breath Sample. He has a court appearance scheduled for May 13, 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich. He received an automatic 90 day driver’s licence suspension and his motor vehicle will be impounded for seven days.
