On August 29, 2013, at approximately 04:00 am, the Owen Sound Police Services were called to the 800 block of 2nd Avenue East Owen Sound, Ontario regarding a male party who was suffering from a laceration as a result of an assault with a weapon from another person.
Police arrived on scene to discover that a male party had been stabbed in the upper chest with a knife. The male was transported to the Grey Bruce Regional Health Center where he was treated and released for his wounds.
A 48 year old Owen Sound female was located a short distance away where she was arrested by Police. The female has been held for a bail hearing in response to charges which include two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, as well as a breach of undertaking.
Due to the domestic nature of the incident no names will be released by Police.
