A couple that had attended a Dunlop Street West coffee shop became involved in an argument over infidelity. The 40 year old Barrie male became enraged and took his wife’s cellular phone and broke it in half.
The female went to leave and her husband followed her outside. Employees of the coffee shop were concerned for her safety and called police.
When police arrived the male was holding open a car door and preventing his wife from leaving. After investigation, police arrested the male for domestic mischief. He was taken to the station and held for bail.
