(Puslinch Township, ON) The County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a residence in Puslinch Township for a domestic related incident at 11:59pm on June 1, 2013. While police were en route, a single gunshot was heard by the victim. Police arrived shortly after and brought the female victim to a place of safety. A perimeter was set up and roads were closed near Concession 7 and Concession 2. Wellington OPP Canine and Crime Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), West Region Tactics and Rescue Team (TRU), West Region Crisis Negotiators, were deployed to the incident.
At approximately 6am, a male surrendered to police. The investigation is continuing at this time.
