A Uniform officer while on patrol downtown came across a disturbance near the bus terminal. Witnesses reported to the officer that a domestic had occurred and a man pushed a female to the ground and punched her in the head.
The man became aggressive with the officer and when other officers arrived, the male attempted to flee on foot. He was arrested after a short foot pursuit. A 25 year old Angus male was charged with Domestic Assault and held for bail.
