Police received a call this morning from a concerned east end resident. The caller reported that she could hear a couple screaming at each other with treats of violence occurring in another apartment.
When police arrived they found the couple that had been involved in a physical altercation. After investigation a 23 year old male was arrested for assault and a historic sexual assault on his girlfriend.
The male was taken to the station and held for bail.
