Police received an early morning call to an east end home with regards to a domestic assault. When police arrived, a female reported that she became involved in an agreement with her common-law husband over his gaming.
They became involved in a physical altercation and she attempted to leave the residence. As she was leaving she tripped and fell to the ground. The male kicked her in the back and then threw a bag of garbage at her.
The 25 year old Barrie male was taken into custody for domestic assault. He was held for a bail hearing.
