A couple became involved in a verbal argument after the girlfriend confronted her boyfriend about his alcohol issues when he returned home intoxicated. The female locked herself in the bathroom after the boyfriend became angry with her. The male then punched a hole in the bathroom door and forced himself into the bathroom where he assaulted the female. Police attended and arrested the male and he was held for a bail hearing.
Further investigation revealed a similar occurrence two weeks ago where the male broke her cell phone, punched the television and assaulted the female. The male faces several charges including assault, mischief and uttering death threats. No medical attention was required in either incident.
