Police were called to a south end residence for a domestic dispute. On arrival police were told that a couple had become involved in a verbal altercation over a damaged item in the home. The dispute escalated and a 38 year old female scratched at her husband while attempting to push him down the stairs.
Police arrested the female for domestic assault. She was held for a bail hearing.
