(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – On Tuesday August 6th, 2013 at approximately 3:07am Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about a disturbance located at business on Wellington County Road 7, in Centre Wellington Township. The investigation revealed that a 36 year old woman from Trenton was assaulted by her partner, a 39 year old male also from Trenton.
The male is charged with assault contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 13, 2013 to answer to the charge.
