On Friday 30th August 2013 Barrie Police were called to attend a residence in the central area of Barrie after a female went to her neighbor telling them that her boyfriend had assaulted her.
The victim had several minor injuries, an ambulance was also in attendance.
Police arrested a 24 year old male. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
