The London Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a dog and its owner.
On Saturday April 11, 2015 at approximately 3:45 pm at Oxford Street W at Sanatorium Road a golden retriever was running loose within the intersection. A concerned citizen attempted to get the dog off the roadway and received a bite to his hand.
The male suffered minor injuries.
The dog is described as a fully grown golden retriever with a metal chain collar.
London Police would like to speak with the owner to determine if the dog’s vaccinations are up to date.

London Police reported a dog bite on April 11th in the are of Sanitorium and Oxford Street West.
Thanks to a citizen report, the dog in question is believed to have been spotted yesterday in the area of Hyde Park Road and Oxford Street West.
Information provided describes the canine as a fully grown golden retriever, with a metal chain. The dog tags appear to be current and the pouch goes by the name Bandit”.
Bandit was last seen on Normandy Gardens and appears to have very warn pads and what appears to be an injured tail.
