(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On Sunday February 25, 2018 Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a shoplifting theft at Zerhs Markets on Tower Street, Fergus. Staff observed the suspect leaving the store with a cart full of groceries and small appliances without paying. The value of goods stolen is estimated to be approximate $600.
OPP are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect (see photos) who is believed to have left in a white GMC Acadia SUV. Eye witnesses describe the suspect as a white, heavy set woman, in her mid to late 20’s, wearing a Lakers” t-shirt and white boots.
