Do You Recognize This Theft Suspect?

Officers with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance to locate a suspect wanted for multiple thefts of medication from pharmacies.

On October 27, 2016, a man entered a pharmacy in the area of Yonge Street and Clearmeadow Boulevard in the Town of Newmarket. He was captured on video surveillance stealing in excess of $4,000 of non-prescription medications. As the investigation progressed, it is believed the same suspect is responsible for a theft from a pharmacy in the City of Vaughan that took place on October 16, 2016 and another theft that took place on November 15, 2016, at a pharmacy in the area of Yonge Street and Aurora Heights Drive in the Town of Aurora, where more than $1,000 dollars in medication was stolen.

Investigators have identified the suspect and are appealing to the public for any information on his whereabouts. As well, investigators are advising the suspect to seek legal counsel and turn himself in.

Fail to Comply With Probation x3
