(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is investigating an April personal robbery and is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
On April 22, 2016, at approximately 3:25 pm, a male victim was walking near the 100 block of Tunney’s Pasture. As he was talking on his cellular phone, the victim was approached by a lone male suspect. The victim was pushed and the suspect made an attempt to take the victim’s backpack. The suspect left empty-handed. Images of the suspect were caught inside a building nearby. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male, approximately 5’10 (178 cm)
