(COUNTY of BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to two separate barn fires from November 18-20, 2016 both in the same general area.
OPP members and members from the County of Brant Fire Service were called on Friday November 18 2016 at approximately 9:45 p.m. to attend a barn fire on Oxbow Road. They were then again called to attend a barn fire on Newport Road at 3:25 p.m. on November 20, 2016.Inside the second barn police located a 2003 Honda Civic and a 1991 Cadillac, and both were destroyed by fire.
Both fires were deemed suspicious in nature and the Ontario Fire Marshalls Office was contacted. The County of Brant OPP and Fire service continue to investigate these incidents and are asking for assistance from the public to locate suspects or suspect vehicles.
