(WEST PERTH, ON) – Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) currently has Perth Road 179 closed between Line 42 and Line 44 in the Municipality of West Perth. A chicken transport truck has become stuck in the ditch area. There is no damage to the truck and no injuries to any livestock on board.
OPP are waiting for the off-loading of this transport and the arrival of a heavy tow to remove this vehicle. It is anticipated that these tasks should be completed and road reopened by 8:00 a.m.
