Disturbance call results in one male party being stabbed

Halton Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Guelph Street and Rexway Drive in the Town of Halton Hills. On June 14th 2016, at approximately 12:50 pm, police responded to a disturbance call where two male parties were engaged in a physical altercation. Over the course of the altercation one male party assaulted the other with a knife causing serious but non-life threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. One male party has since been arrested by police.

At this time the incident is still under investigation. This was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing public safety concern.
