Disqualified Drunk Driver From Chatsworth Arrested

(CHATSWORTH, ON) – On February 28, 2017 at 7:38 p.m., the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested a male driver who was operating a 2002 Dodge pick-up truck while impaired on 6 highway, in the Township of Chatsworth.

Upon speaking with the driver, police found the driver had been drinking alcohol. The driver was transported to the Chatsworth OPP Detachment for breath tests, in which he failed.

The driver, 55-year-old, Howard Mark SEWELL, of the Township of Chatsworth, was charged with impaired driving, over 80 milligrams, drive disqualified x 2 and having open liquor. Police seized and impounded the vehicle for 45 days. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled on March 1, 2017.
