On August 21, 2016 at about 12:45 p.m., a 23 year old male driver and 26 year old female passenger from Niagara Falls were operating a dirt bike along a gravel trail in the area of St. Boniface Drive, in Woolwich Township. The parties were driving along the trail when they collided with a 17 year old male from Woolwich Township also operating a dirt bike along the same trail in the opposite direction. All three parties sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported to a hospital outside the region. The Waterloo Regional Police Service Traffic Branch continues to investigate this collision. Charges are pending.
