On Thursday, March 9, 2017, at approximately 3:40 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police received a report that two young males were approached by an unknown adult male in the area of Breithaupt Park in Kitchener. The suspect sexually assaulted one of the young males before fleeing the area on foot. No one was injured and medical treatment was not required. The suspect is described as white, 40 years old, five feet nine inches tall with white or blond hair that is short on the sides and spikey on top. He has a thin face with pronounced cheek bones and was wearing a large grey navy coat, blue jeans and large sun glasses. It is believed that he also walked with a limp.
