Detectives from the Hamilton Police Service are investigating several related incidents that occurred on the west mountain between Tuesday June 21 at 11:30pm and Wednesday June 22 at 12:15am.
It was indicated that four (4) male suspects were operating an orange Dodge Calibre vehicle. The suspects approached a residence in the area of South Bend Road and Laurier Avenue. They began to knock on the door of the residence with no response which resulted in them leaving.
The vehicle and these same four (4) suspects were then seen in another location on the west mountain. One of the suspects was also seen to be in possession of a weapon believed to be a handgun.
The suspects later attended a residence on West 3rd Street where two (2) of the suspects entered through the front door unannounced. One of suspects threatened the victim of the home by brandishing an object believed to be a knife. The victim was able to flee from the residence unharmed. The two (2) suspects exited the residence and entered a vehicle, which then left the area.
The 4 four (4) suspects are described as:
Male, white, mid 20’s, 5’6
