On Monday, June 13th, 2016, at approximately 11:00pm, the Hamilton Police responded to a robbery at the Shopper’s Drug Mart located at 902 Mohawk Road East. Two male suspects entered the pharmacy and threatened the employees while making demands for narcotics. No one was physically injured during this robbery.
The suspects fled the area with an unknown quantity of narcotics and were last seen heading in an eastbound direction away from the store.
Both suspects were described as black males, wearing dark coloured jackets and light coloured pants.
Police want to remind the community that consuming any type of narcotics that are no prescribed by a medical professional could be harmful to their health and in some cases fatal.
Detectives are still gathering details in relation to this investigation and are appealing to anyone who may have information about this crime to contact them.
