On Thursday July 14th, 2016 just shortly before 9:00am, Hamilton Police officers responded for a robbery at the Subway restaurant situated at 101 Queenston Road.
It was indicated that a male suspect entered the restaurant while displaying a weapon believed to be a handgun at an employee. The suspect took hold and escorted the employee to a cash register where he made demands for cash. The suspect stole a small amount of cash and fled the store and last seen running eastbound on Queenston Road. The employee did not sustain any injuries.
Members of the Canine Unit and Emergency Response Unit responded and searched the area and were unable to locate the suspect.
Suspect Description:
Black male, 5’8”, thin build, early 20’s, freckles under his eyes, blue hoody, black baseball cap, white dust mask, white undershirt (visible under hoody), blue jeans, grey and white athletic shoes
