On the 17th of August 2013 at approximately 1:30am, police recieved a call to attend a residence in the north-west end of Barrie. Information was that the house was split into a upper and lower residence and the two tennants were involved in some sort of disturbance.
Upon police arrival it was revealed that the female resident whom lived in the lower level of the residence was acting irrational, yelling and screaming at the family who lived upstairs. The argument was prompted by issues involving a male’s behaviour in the upper apartment.
During the females rant, she threatened to take a knife and cut the heads off of the residents living upstairs.
Police subsequently arrested the female and charged her with uttering threats. The female was held pending a bail hearing.
