(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On October 26, 2016 at approximately 3:26 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an unresponsive female located in the water on the northeast side of the Berry Street and Sykes Street North bridge, Meaford, in the Municipality of Meaford.
The victim was transported to hospital where life-saving measures were attempted. The victim was pronounced dead by the attending physician.
The deceased has been identified as 28-year old Tiffany Victoria DEAN of the Municipality of Meaford.
Due to the circumstances surrounding the death, police are not in a position to discuss details of the investigation. Foul play is not suspected.
