(LISTOWEL, ON.) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment is currently investigating a sudden death at an Inkerman Street East, Listowel, North Perth County, Ontario address.
On Sunday, August 27, 2017 at approximately 11:43 a.m., Perth OPP, North Perth Fire Department (Listowel), along with Perth County Paramedics responded to a residence located on Inkerman Street East. The residence on Inkerman Street East is between Nicol Avenue North and Maitland Avenue North.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a 55-year-old male was working on a vehicle in the garage, when the vehicle rolled off the car jacks and trapped the male.
Emergency crews on scene assisted the male however he was pronounced deceased on scene.
The name of the deceased is not being released until next of kin is notified.
The investigation is continuing, however the death is not considered suspicious.
