Dear Council, Please Stop and Consider These Four Reforms

The ability to question our elected representatives in public, is
essential in a Representative Democracy.  The road you are
currently heading down is rife with oppression, the road behind you
has been soiled by abuse and bullying.

Several days ago, survey data was released showing that 98.5% of
residents think Communicating With Citizens” is somewhat or Very
important.  Now you want to take steps to eliminate the “one or
two” questions you normally get at council meetings.

I urge you to choose a different path.  You should be taking
steps to increase the amount of  public input and
questions.  It is your duty to make sure you are representing
those that elected you.   How much interaction did you
have with the public in the first 6 months of your current
term?  I know the answer for a couple of you.  How can you
represent your constituents if you had little or no contact with
them?
