(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Tuesday March 12, 2013, around 4:40 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.) officer on patrol in Mitchell was flagged down by a citizen who located a male at the Mitchell Car Wash stealing a pop machine coin dispenser.
The male was arrested by police and additional offences were discovered. He was also charged for offences that had taken place in Mitchell on the evening of Monday March 11, 2013. At that time officers investigated the cutting of a hydro pole ground wire on Huron Road near Blenheim Court.
Dean HECKMAN (23) of the Municipality of West Perth has been charged with theft under $5,000.00, 2 counts of mischief under $5,000.00, possession of break in instruments, and fail to comply with undertaking. He is scheduled to appear at Stratford Ontario Court of Justice on Tuesday April 02, 2013, to answer to these charges.
