(WELLINGTON COUNTY, ON) Wellington County recently has experienced an increase in day time Break and Enters. Puslinch, Guelph-Eramosa and Centre Wellington Townships have been areas that the criminals have been targeting.
The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) wants to remind the residents that they can take a few steps to possibly prevent a Break and Enter from happening to their property.
Lock doors and windows prior to leaving their home
Secure personal vehicles and don’t leave valuables in them
Take note of and record descriptions of suspicious persons/vehicles in the neighborhood or that pull into your driveway and call the OPP at 1 888 310 1122
Should you find that you have been victimized don’t enter the house or touch anything until the police arrive.
